Usher Cup 2022 has now officially wrapped after a huge three days of epic surfing and our kings and queens of the waves being awarded.
Year one was a huge success and set new benchmarks for grassroots surf contests and then in year two, the Usher Cup welcomed in an international audience with the events live stream broadcast watched by tens of thousands of people all over the world.
Day 3 of the 2022 Usher Cup, and Snapper Rocks has turned on another stella day, the iconic surf break providing those still in finals contention with every opportunity to put their skills on show and compete for a slice of the $73,000 dollars in prize money.
Day 2 of Usher Cup saw another fantastic day of sun, surf and stella competition from the up-and-coming grassroots surfers who have descended on Snapper Rocks for the 3 day competition.
What they give away in years, they more than make up for in energy, excitement, and skill and if the first two days of the Usher Cup have shown anything, it’s that the contests established stars and early favourites have been put on notice by a number of wildcard entries.
