CLUB SPOTLIGHT North End BRC

At forty-seven years of age, North End Boardriders have literally ridden the highs and lows of club surfing. Formed at Main Beach in 1976, North End BRC are fiercely local and lay claim to being one of the largest competitive boardriding clubs on the Gold Coast.

Surfing legend Michael “Munga” Barry, Joe Engel and Dave “Rasta” Rastovich are but a few of the surfers who have competed for and represented the NEB club.

Boasting a great, inclusive culture and a club filled with fantastic local characters, and amazing talent. However, while they have a vast array of pathways and coaching available for those looking to chase their professional surfing dreams, the saying “It is not all about beating people in your heat” rings very true at NEB and the club strives to provide a welcoming environment to any and all members no matter how hard they shred.

With a strong team in the water, you can be assured that you will hear the North End Boardriders Club on the beach as they look to crash their southern rivals party at Usher Cup 2023.

To stay up to date with the North End Boardriders Club performance throughout the Usher Cup, tune into the live stream at www.ushercup.com from the 19th to the 22nd of January.
